All,
 
TGbc will conduct leadership elections in January.
 
The 802.11 Operations Manual states for the election process:
 
  • The TG Chair shall be appointed by the WG Chair and confirmed by a WG majority approval
  • TG Vice-Chair is elected by a TG majority approval and confirmed by a WG majority approval 
  • The TG Secretary shall be appointed by the TG Chair and confirmed by a TG motion that is approved with a minimum 50% majority 
  • The TG Technical Editor shall be appointed by the TG Chair and confirmed by a TG majority approval          
 
The WG Chair appointed me as the TG Chair pro temp, subject to confirmation by the WG approval for which I appreciated your support.
Please contact the WG Chair, Dorothy Stanley, directly if you would like to be considered as well for that position.
 
If you would like to run as a Vice Chair or be considered as Technical Editor or Secretary, please step forward and nominate yourself.
Nominations will be closed during the first TGbc session on Monday and elections are scheduled currently for the second session on
Wednesday.
