Hi Alfred,

Surely you mean to call for candidates for chair as well. 

I realize chairs for task groups are appointed by the working group chair, but as I understand it there is still a working group confirmation vote - as per IEEE 802.11 Wireless Local Area Networks (WLANs) Operations Manual Date: 2018-07-13

"1.1     Task Group Chair

The TG Chair shall be appointed by the WG Chair and confirmed by a WG majority approval.”

Thus one would expect a call for candidates for chair of this task group, either by you, or by the chair of the WG. Perhaps I am mistaken, in which case I await your enlightenment.

Regardless, surely the office of chair of this task group is theoretically open until the Working Group votes, so I would encourage other candidates to step forward.

The IEEE 802.11 Operations manual (11-14/0629r22) states:
     - The TG Vice-Chair is elected by a TG majority approval and
confirmed by a WG majority approval
     - The TG Secretary shall be appointed by the TG Chair and
confirmed by a TG motion that is approved with a minimum 50% majority
     - The TG Technical Editor shall be appointed by the TG Chair and
confirmed by a TG majority approval

If you would like to run as a Vice Chair or be considered as Technical
Editor or Secretary, please step forward and nominate yourself.

Nominations will be closed during the first TGbe session, on Monday
(PM2), and elections are scheduled currently during the second TGbe
session, on Wednesday (AM1).
