Re: [STDS-802-11-TGBE] 答复: [STDS-802-11-TGBE] Clarification question on 791r1

Hi Ron,

If you want to convert the TBD to support, then can you do that separately?

Also, it is not good to have two different tables/texts which have different status or conflict each other.

So, if you just ask mandatory support for multi RU aggregation, it will be sufficient.

BTW, if you can split mandatory support for transmission and reception separately, then it will be better (at least) for me.

Best regards,

Wook Bong Lee

Hi Ross,

Thanks for the question, you have a point.  Indeed we want to convert the TBD to supported and indeed the SFD doesn’t include the below combination in OFDMA so I revised the proposal in r3.

Regards,

Ron

答复: [STDS-802-11-TGBE] Clarification question on 791r1

Hi Ron,

Thanks for the update. The following part is still not clear to me:

l  Can a STA be assigned a 996+(484+242) within 160MHz OFDMA transmission?

n  OFDMA transmission means the single 242-tone RU or multiple small RUs within the other 20Mhz are assigned to other STA(s).

l  Can a STA be assigned a 2x996+484 within 240MHz OFDMA transmission?

l  Can a STA be assigned a 4x996+484 within 320MHz OFDMA transmission?

As far as I know, for OFDMA transmission, the first case above is not supported in the SFD; the second and third case are TBD supported in the SFD.

Hi Ross,

Please let me know if r2 is clearer.

Hi Ron,

In 791r1, slide 4, the MRU support does not differentiate OFDMA and non-OFDMA, some modes are supported for non-OFDMA only, some modes are TBD for OFDMA mode. Could you clarify it in your next version? Thanks.
