Re: [STDS-802-11-TGBE] comment on Proposed Draft Text for 34.3.2.2 Subcarriers and resource allocation for wideband

Note: changed title.

-------

Hi Yan,

Thanks for your effort.

I have few comments.

In my opinion, rather than referring figure, it would be better if you write exact subcarrier indices for each RU as in 11ax (e.g. Table 27-9)

Any 80MHz segment in an EHT 80/160/240/320MHz PPDU, if it is punctured or used for OFDMA, uses the tone plan shown in Figure XXX.

I don’t know what is scope of this section, but I think we need a section like 27.3.2.2 Resource unit, guard and DC subcarriers.

Probably better to have tables for all cases even if it is duplicated/same as 11ax. 26-tone RU index may be changed in 80MHz.

Second, there is no 240/160+80 MHz PPDU in 11be. Need to delete these two.

Editorial, we need a space between number and “MHz”

Best regards,

Wook Bong Lee

Hi Alfred:

I presented 1314r0 Thursday last week. Based on the discussion during that call, we are able to revise 1314r0. As suggested by the PHY group, a part of content in 1314r0 has been removed and the title of 1314r0 no longer fully reflects the content in this revision.

So the revision of 1314r0 has a new DCN:  “11-20-1371-00-00be-PDT-PHY-Subcarriers-and-resource-allocation-for-wideband”

Could you please add 1371r0 in the PHY agenda for today’s call?

Thank you,

Yan.

Subject: [STDS-802-11-TGBE] TGbe Teleconferences [08/31/2020]: Agenda Posted

Hello all,

I uploaded an updated version of the agendas, which contains the agenda for the next conference calls, scheduled on Monday, August 31 (MAC/PHY), 19:00-22:00 ET.

The agendas can be found here:

The dial in details can be found in the IEEE 802.11 calendar in their respective entries. The calendar can be accessed from this webpage.

PS 1: Guidelines for scheduled PHY conf calls:

· Every time the agenda is sent the TG chair will ask if there are any submissions requests to be added to the PHY submissions queue. Requests can be regarding new submissions or regarding submissions with deferred SPs.

· Requests may explicitly indicate if the requestor prefers to discuss his/her submission at a particular PHY conf call. If there is no such explicit indication then the submission will be added by default to the PHY submissions queue and will be scheduled for presentation in a subsequent PHY conference call during which there are at least 3 submissions available for discussion.

· A scheduled PHY conference call will be cancelled if the planned PHY agenda for that particular conference call does not have queued at least 3 presentations or at least one presentation with an explicit request. The cancellation notice in this case will be sent at least 24 hours in advance.

PS 2: Please send requests for any deferred SPs that need to be added to the agendas at least 24 hours prior to the start of the conference call (same applies to the upload of submissions present in the agenda and that contains a SP, however in this case no explicit request is needed). Deadline for uploading the initial version of a submission present in the agenda is 7 days prior to that conference call.

Please let me know if you have any questions and/or suggestions.

Best Regards,

Alfred
