"The EHT-SIG field provides the necessary signaling in addition to U-SIG for the STAs to interpretate the EHT PPDU.". EHT-SIG helps both STA and AP to know allocation parameters and not limited to STA.

Ross: In IEEE specs, STAs mean both AP STAs and non-AP STAs. So it is fine.

"A 3×996+484-tone RU is referred to by seven RU Allocation subfields per EHT-SIG content channel, for both EHT-SIG content channels. The seven RU Allocation subfields per EHT-SIG content channel are labeled from the first RU Allocation subfield to the seventh RU Allocation subfield". Not very clear

Ross: this paragraph is just to follow 11ax. A 3*996+484-tone RU overlaps 14 of 242-tone RU, and hence referred by 14 RU allocation subfields in total (7 per CC). Please see if this has resolved your concern and if you have some better suggestions.

In 11ax:

A 996-tone RU is referred to by two consecutive RU Allocation subfields per HE-SIG-B content channel,

for both HE-SIG-B content channels. The two consecutive RU Allocation subfields per HE-SIG-B content

channel are labeled the first RU Allocation subfield and the second RU Allocation subfield. A 484-tone RU

is referred to by a single RU Allocation subfield per HE-SIG-B content channel, for both HE-SIG-B content

channels. Smaller RUs are referred to by a single RU Allocation subfield in a single HE-SIG-B content

channel. If a Common field is present in a 160 MHz or 80+80 MHz PPDU, a 2×996 tone RU is not permitted and cannot be indicated by the RU allocation subfield(#24193).

Image Figure 34-x suggests that common field and user field get separate CRC and tail for all modes, whereas this is not decided yet.
For example in the SU case a single shared CRC+Tail for common + user field may be of interest to fit 2 EHT symbols.
