Hi Abhi,
Yes. I will agree with you on that. We need to say group address frame to cover both data frame and management frame.
I consider that as editorial and have sent an offline email to Edward.
Best,
Po-Kai

Hi Po-Kai,
Thanks for responding.
In that case, should we consider renaming the main clause as follows?
33.3.9 Multi-link group addressed
datadelivery

Abhi

Hi Abhi,
I think since beacon frame is management frame, so if we do create clause for Group addressed management frame, then logically it should generally cover beacon frame as a subclause unless we say it in the group addressed management clause that beacon frame is excluded for whatever general rule.
However, I do not have problem if we want to focus on draft text now and deal with clause rearrangement later.
Best,
Po-Kai

Hello Abhi,
I am fine with it. Since the name of the TTT is "MLO-Multi-link group addressed data delivery: Beacon transmission", I thought the text is intended for group address delivery.

Edward

Hi Edward,
The beaconing operation (covered in this PDT) is not specific to group address delivery and applies to the overall MLO feature. Therefore, I think it should be placed under MLO General clause (33.3.1).
I am open to other suggestions.

Abhi

Hello Duncan,
Based on the SFD, I create the following subclauses in the tentative D0.1:
33.3.9 Multi-link group addressed data delivery
33.3.9.1 Beacon transmission
33.3.9.2 Group addressed data frame
33.3.3.3 Group addressed management frame
Do you prefer to place your text under 33.3.9.1 or keep the current proposal to place your text under a general section? Please kindly advise.
Thanks,
Edward
