Hi George, Chunyu, Alfred and all, Based on George’s comments, I updated the definition of soft AP MLD as below. Soft access point (AP) multi-link device (MLD): An AP MLD with dot11SoftAPMLDActivated set to true that is in the same collocated set as a non-AP MLD, with APs affiliated with the AP MLD using the same antenna connectors as non-AP
STAs affiliated with the non-AP MLD. In addition, all STAs and APs in the collocated set are subject to physical limitations (e.g., battery powered, in-device coexistence interference). The new definition is to solve the following concerns: 1.
A soft AP MLD is of the same type of entity an MLD is. 2.
Reuse the concept of collocated set defined in 11ax to illustrate the relationships between soft AP MLD and non-AP MLD. ·
“co-located access point (AP) set:
A set of two or more APs in the same physical device” May I know if your concerns are solved by the new text or have further comments? Thanks, Kaiying
