The transmit modulation accuracy test shall be performed by instrumentation capable of converting the transmitted signals into a stream of complex samples at sampling rate greater than or equal to the bandwidth of the signal being transmitted except that for a noncontiguous transmissions each frequency segment may be tested independently.
Hi all 11be PHY members,
MJ and I updated 11-20/1791, PHY modulation accuracy.
Please check revision 2. (Search for revision 2 in the note).
Table 36-45 is updated based on 26-tone indices in 11-20/1845r2 SP1 which makes same as 11ax up to 160 MHz for a single RU.
For MRU, there are several things I would like to mention.
1. MRU index matching across different bandwidth. For small MRU, supported MRU for 20/40 and 80 are different. In that case, the MRU index is quite complex to be reflected in table 36-45. Also, there is a proposal to make some non-used indices for 80MHz and beyond. Please take a look at 11-20/1845r2 SP2. With the proposed small MRU indices, we can have a consistent way of indicating i_ru26,start.
2. For large MRU, there are some cases where MRU is not continuous. But the table 36-45 is for continuous case. So, I wrote N/A in those cases while i_ru is matching with MRU index in section 36.3.2.3.3. I also made a note for this below the table.
Best regards,
Wook Bong Lee
