Hi Junghoon, Thanks for suggestion. So, do you want something like? Indicates the channel width used to determine the starting and ending subcarrier indices when interpreting the
Partial BW Info subfields.
The value of BW subfield is corresponding to the Bandwidth of EHT NDP Announcement frame.
I am fine with that. We can discuss during tomorrows call.
And currently there is no quoted text in the NDP Announcement frame. It will be added when we have an agreement on Partial BW Info. There is a placeholder for Partial BW Info subfield in page 8. (Place holder for description of Partial BW Info subfield.) Please let me know your opinion. Best regards, Wook Bong Lee From: Junghoon Suh [mailto:Junghoon.Suh@xxxxxxxxxx] Hi, Wook Bong Thanks for the answer. I think it is good to have something in the BW subfield of MIMO Control Field for the definition of the BW. It is a BW subfield but we only have
a description about how to look up the Partial BW Info, so I think we’d better have a definition and description on the BW subfield itself. How about this? Indicates the channel width which the CSI information is calculated with. It corresponds to the Bandwidth of NDPA, and is used to determine the starting and ending
subcarrier indices when interpreting the Partial BW Info subfields. Set to 0 for 20 MHz Set to 1 for 40 MHz Set to 2 for 80 MHz Set to 3 for 160 MHz Set to 4 for 320 MHz And, I think the following text you quote needs to be updated as well in the appropriate section. The RU Start Index subfield and RU End Index subfield depends on the bandwidth of the

Hi Junghoon, Thanks for this. In legacy, it is true there is no BW field in NDP-A, but interpretation of BW is same as NPD-A BW. Please see following text. The RU Start Index subfield and RU End Index subfield depends on the bandwidth of the HE NDP Announcement frame, which is
indicated by the TXVECTOR parameter CH_BANDWIDTH if the frame is carried in an HE, VHT or HT PPDU and by the TXVECTOR parameter CH_BANDWIDTH_IN_NON_HT if the frame is carried in a non-HT duplicate PPDU,
and is 20 MHz if the frame is carried in non-HT PPDU. The values of the RU Start Index subfield and RU End Index subfield are each selected from the following: So, in my opinion, we can do similar way as in legacy.
Relying on NDP’s BW field is too late for some implementation. Best regards, Wook Bong Lee From: Junghoon Suh [mailto:Junghoon.Suh@xxxxxxxxxx]
Hi, Wook Bong I have a comment on the page 10 of PDT 1826r4. In the BW subfield, I think we need a clear definition on how to set the BW in the MIMO Control Field, because it is an important information to look up the Partial
BW Info. There is no BW subfield in the NDPA, so it may confuse each STA on how to set the BW subfield in the MIMO Control Field. It looks like a common sense to be equal to the BW of NDP frame. So, my suggestion is below. Indicates the channel width which the CSI information is calculated with. It corresponds to the PPDU BW subfield in the U-SIG of NDP, and is used to determine the starting
and ending subcarrier indices when interpreting the Partial BW Info subfields. Set to 0 for 20 MHz Set to 1 for 40 MHz Set to 2 for 80 MHz Set to 3 for 160 MHz Set to 4 for 320 MHz Regards Junghoon From: Wook Bong Lee [mailto:wookbong.lee@xxxxxxxxxxx]
Hi Alfred, I updated below PDT. 11-20/1826r4 PDT Joint Spatial Stream and MIMO Protocol, Wook Bong Lee (Samsung) Please add it in the joint queue. Thank you. Best regards, Wook Bong Lee From: Steve Shellhammer [mailto:sshellha@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx]
Alfred, I have uploaded document 1429r3, “Enhanced Trigger Frame for EHT Support” I would request to discuss this on the Wednesday Joint call. Regards, Steve From: Alfred Asterjadhi <asterjadhi@xxxxxxxxx>
