Hi Yunbo,

I have same understanding with Young Hoon, thanks.

Hi Yunbo,

In my opinion, “STR vs NSTR” is a capability signaling, and “disablement vs enablement” of a link can be changed based on operational signaling.

So, linking STR/NSTR to enabled/disabled links may not be appropriate.

Thanks,

Young Hoon

Hi Tomo,

Thanks for sharing your opinion. I more prefer “an MLD for which all link pairs are STR”, but don’t have a strong opinion. Main reason is it will not change from NSTR MLD to STR MLD (or vice versa, from STR MLD to NSTR MLD) due to the enable or disable of some of the links.

We can see other people’s opinion.

Yunbo

Hi Yunbo,

Which one will you take? The first one, i.e., an MLD for which all link pairs are STR?

With the enabled and disabled links existing, I would prefer the second one, i.e., an MLD for which all enabled link pairs are STR.

Best regards,

tomo

Hi Matt,

Thanks for the suggestion. It is more cleaner. If no comments from other person, I will update it in next revision.

Yunbo,

Suggested improved wording:

Change:

an MLD with all of its link pairs of the associated links are STR

to:

an MLD for which all link pairs are STR

and for the other option:

an MLD for which all enabled link pairs are STR
