We have the same understanding. The discussion part was saying the current assumption that receiver is non-AP STA (the way current spec text was written) is not accurate so there are some proposed text changes in the document.

However, the specs texts above Table 36-40 (802.11be D1.4) indicates
Above sentence does not specify non-MU-MIMO allocation is for DL only. Instead, Table 36-29 in 802.11be D1.4 shows UL has UL OFDMA or UL non-OFDMA (including non-MU-MIMO and MU-MIMO).
Therefore, I am wondering why the discussion in 0476r1 assumes the receiver is a non-AP STA in Table 36-40. Do I miss anything?
