Hi Dibakar, Thanks for your comments. Please see my answer as follows: [Q] the slides on the demo, while great, seem to be about the transport/application layer protocols performance over a wifi link. Is the message here simply to say: "use QUIC for Miracast if using a wifi link" ? Or, do
you also have some ideas on layer-2 improvements to make TCP, UDP performance better beyond the features listed in slide 15 ? [A] This document considers 11be to support for the potential XR applications and analyses the impact of throughput, latency, reliability (QoS parameters) to the QoE of streaming video and XR applications. Therefore the
Demo results shows how the QoE results are impacted not only by the QoS parameters but also by the higer-layer protocols (TCP, UPD ,QUIC etc.). I think the important thing that the test results show is that the latency with high reliability is the key factor
for QoE, and higer-layer protocols would impact QoE to a limited extent. So its current intention is not to design a message to say: "use QUIC for Miracast if using a wifi link". But as you mentioned the layer-2 improvements may make TCP, UDP performance better,
and how the high-layer protocols collaborate with layer-2 for a better performance is an interesting topic and needs further study. We can have more discussion on this topic. Best Regards, Liuming Lu 发件人:

Hi all,
I open this thread to discuss 638r1, any comment is welcome: Thanks, Best regards, Liuming Lu 发件人: Alfred Asterjadhi <asterjadhi@xxxxxxxxx>
Hello all, We have a joint session with IEEE802.1 TSN members scheduled during the
Joint call of April 20th 2022, with dial-in information provided below: https://ieeesa.webex.com/ieeesa/j.php?MTID=md08e2030f3667919b52f4c2d24f1f5da
Meeting number: 233 020 02285 Meeting password: wireless (94735377 from phones and video systems) In order to facilitate the discussions and organize the agenda i would like to ask for contributions around this topic: - 802.11be and time sensitive networking (TSN) functionalities. Since we have only two hours and there might be contributions from TSN members as well, the plan is to gather a list of contributions (title is sufficient at this stage) by next Wednesday and, after coordinating with
the TSN Chair (in cc), ask the volunteers to prepare the contributions (content developed at this stage). If the number of contributions exceeds the allocated time I may ask the volunteers to work together on common presentations so that we fit in the allocated
session time. Please obtain a DCN and use the IEEE 802.11 presentation format for the contributions noting that the deadline for uploading the documents will be Tuesday 19th of April 2022 10:00am ET: https://mentor.ieee.org/802.11/documents?is_group=00be Please send a request with the Title of the presentation as a response to this e-mail by Wednesday 13th of April 2022 (23:59 ET). Best Regards, Alfred Asterjadhi -- Alfred Asterjadhi, PhD IEEE802.11 TGbe Chair, Qualcomm Technologies Inc.
