Hi Sindhu, thanks for your comment Yes you got my intention right. The classification “NSTR link pair” or “NSTR link pair” is MLD specific, pair that is NSTR for MLD 1 can be easily an STR for MLD 2. In 35.3.19.1 the pair of primary and non-primary links is NSTR for mobile AP, but other MLDs associated to that mobile MLD may not have similar classification for that pair of links. So both notes (my version and your version) speak the same, mine is just saying that non-AP MLD use this pair of links as NSTR pair (regardless of its own classification) and yours saying “use this pair as NSTR even if you classified it
as STR”. Dmitry P.S. While working on this CR, I got an idea that this comment might be resolved in clause 35.3.19.1 by adding corresponding statement there, for example: Thoughts on that? STAs affiliated with a non-AP MLD that is associated with an NSTR mobile AP MLD and APs affiliated -- NEW LINE: a non-AP MLD shall classify pair on primary and non-primary links that are set up by NSTR mobile MLD as NSTR link pair for that non-AP LMD — A STA affiliated with the non-AP MLD may initiate a PPDU transmission to
its associated AP From: Sindhu Verma <000011381223f2e2-dmarc-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>
Hi Dmitry, Thanks. I have a comment regarding the following note: “NOTE 4—When STAs affiliated with a non-AP MLD that is associated with an NSTR mobile AP MLD and APs affiliated with an NSTR mobile AP MLD intend to transmit
in the nonprimary link (35.3.19.1), the non-AP MLD use pair of primary and nonprimary links that are set up by the NSTR mobile AP MLD as an NSTR link pair for that non-AP MLD.” While a note may help to clarify the actions on the part of the non-AP MLD while transmitting on the UL and if the pair of links is STR from its perspective, it is not necessary for the case
when the link pair is already NSTR for the non-AP MLD. This note is also not needed for the DL, as the link pair is by definition NSTR for the NSTR mobile AP MLD. Hence, request you to use the note to clarify only the case of transmissions on a STR link pair
of a non-AP MLD. For example, “NOTE 4—When STAs affiliated with a non-AP MLD that is associated with an NSTR mobile AP MLD intend to transmit on the nonprimary link (35.3.19.1), the non-AP MLD uses the pair of primary
and nonprimary links that are set up by the NSTR mobile AP MLD as an NSTR link pair even if they constitute an STR link pair at the non-AP MLD.” Regards, Sindhu On Mon, Sep 12, 2022 at 3:13 AM Akhmetov, Dmitry <Dmitry.Akhmetov@xxxxxxxxx> wrote:
