Hi Minyoung,
I have a concern on the resolution for CID 16899 in the doc 0662r2.
The suggested resolution is as follows: “ ...a non-AP STA affiliated with a non-AP MLD that is operating on one of the EMLSR links is considered to have lost medium synchronization if it is not able to perform CCA during frame exchanges (#16899)that includes and during the link switch delays ….“
While I agree with the commenter that the current text has somewhat strange grammar, I prefer to change the text to “is not able to perform CCA during either frame exchanges or the link switch delays…”. This is to avoid the possibility that someone interprets the proposed changed text to mean that the MLD loses medium synchronization in the following cases:
If it is not able to perform CCA during frame exchanges
During link switch delays.
Such an interpretation would be contrary to the intent of the current specification which states that medium synchronization is lost if the MLD is not able to do CCA during frame exchanges + link switch delays.
Regards,
Shubho
