Hi folks, Thank you for your help and constructive inputs yesterday. The following CID was deferred as some member wanted to think it over.
Yongho commented that it’s better to call out the Bandwidth Indication suselement explicitly which contains the new puncturing patter. As the comment adds clarity, I’ve taken the suggestion with some minor edits as below with change
highlighted:
(#19624)To indicate a puncturing pattern
change for the current BSS operating channel in a Beacon frame, an EHT AP shall use an EHT Operation element or
the Bandwidth Indication subelement in a Channel Switch Wrapper element (see 35.15.3 (Channel switching methods for an EHT BSS)).
NOTE—The Channel Switch Count field in a Channel Switch Announcement element or an Extended Channel Switch Announcement element sent together with
the Bandwidth Indication subelement of the Channel Switch Wrapper element allows the AP to notify the associated non-AP STAs in advance about the upcoming puncturing pattern, so it is recommended to use the Channel Switch
Wrapper element to indicate the puncturing pattern change. If possible, please let know if you have any comments/suggestions on the resolution by today. If there is no concern received, I’d like to run the SP during the Wed’s joint session. Thanks Yanjun
