[STDS-802-11-TGBF] Confidentiality notices in emails sent to the reflector

Hi All,
A gentle reminder that emails sent to the 802 reflectors are not to contain confidential information or confidentiality notices.  Please see the LMSC WG Poliices and Procedures (https://mentor.ieee.org/802-ec/dcn/21/ec-21-0207-25-0PNP-ieee-802-lmsc-working-group-policies-and-procedures.pdf) clause 1.4.2:

IEEE standards development is an open, voluntary consensus process. As such, no material submitted during IEEE standards development activities will be accepted or considered if it contains any statement that places any burden on the recipient(s) with respect to confidentiality. Any communication, including electronic mail, containing language with such restrictive wording will not be accepted or considered.

I found a number of emails this morning with confidentiality notices.  Likely because IT depts love to add these things to emails automatically, often transparently (which you only see when you read your own posts).  None the less, it's not appropriate material for the 802 email reflectors.

Best Regards
Ben
