Hi Jerome, A few comments on your slide deck.
- on slide 11 I think an additional con to MAC-based network access is "easy to circumvent". - last sentence of slide 12 makes a statement that may be contentious, unnecessarily so. Suggest change: " - this seems like a feature request from a product group—"we need a way to offer parental controls that is not easy to circumvent". Is this what TGbh is for? - you might want to include some links on how parental controls are circumvented. A simple search ("how to bypass parental controls") was revealing. regards, Dan. -- "the object of life is not to be on the side of the majority, but to escape finding oneself in the ranks of the insane." – Marcus Aurelius On 5/10/21, 8:36 AM, "Mark Hamilton" <mark.hamilton2152@xxxxxxxxx> wrote: Excellent! Good morning Mark, In our last 802.11bh call, we were wondering about parental controls using MAC addresses. We prepared a short presentation (https://mentor.ieee.org/802.11/dcn/21/11-21-0804-00-00bh-rcm-parental-control-examples.pptx)
that summarizes our investigation in the existence ‘in the wild’ of this feature., If it is agreeable to the group, we would request to present our observations in one of the upcoming meetings. Thank you Jerome
