Hi All,
The following CID assigned to me, I agree the commentter's comment, the term of "Device Identification" is easy to be confused with the term "Device Identification Information" in subclause 9.4.4.2.3 in baseline.
And the commter suggest to replace with "network-assigned device identifier", any better ideas on this?
74 | Henry Ptasinski | Technical | 1 | 3 | 7 | 17 | "Device identification" is already used in the base standard (e.g. "Device Identification Information field", "Device Identification Information Value fields"). This definition in 11bh conflicts with the usage in the base standard. Also, the term does not clearly indicate that this ID is assigned by the network, which is a key aspect of the ID. | Define a new term "network-assigned device identifier" and acronym "NADI" and update the draft to use this term throughout. |
Thanks
Best Regards

All,
Reminders:
TGbh D2.0 letter ballot (LB 282) closes today (Jan 5) at 23:59 Eastern Time USA
TGbh will hold a teleconference on Tue, January 9, 9:30am – 11:30am, where will review the comments on the LB, assign comments for resolution, and start resolution if/as possible
Our timeline has a target to go out of the January session (Jan 15-19) with a D3.0 recirculation, so we need to target to resolve all comments on the teleconference (Jan 9) or during the session week. Please prepare as much ahead of time as possible, and plan to work toward this goal.
Thanks! Mark
