Hi all, I have uploaded the document 11-26/0758 CR for CID I-38. Comments are welcomed. This CR proposes a new mechanism to do RCM operation (IRM and device ID) over action frames. The motivation is as follows.
The current IRM/device ID mechanism for preassociation can only be done through PASN authentication frames. The post-quantum PAKE authentication (discussed in TGbt) will likely require more than 3 authentication frames, which cannot be
wrapped into 3 PASN frames (unlike SAE). Because we need post-quantum secure password authentication for preassociation, PASN might not be the only authentication algorithm for preassociation security. This calls for the need to define a more flexible way
