Re: [STDS-802-11-TGBN] PDT-PHY-COBF

Hi Jay,

Thank you for your comments.  As far as I know STA could refer to both AP and STA per the IEEE definition so was using AP STA and non-AP STA to clearly differentiate but am open to other terminology if better.

Your other comment is good, will modify in r1 to something like NDPA transmitter.

Regards,

Ron

Subject: [STDS-802-11-TGBN] PDT-PHY-COBF

Hi all,

I uploaded the first draft of this PDT in https://mentor.ieee.org/802.11/dcn/24/11-24-2015-00-00bn-pdt-phy-cobf.docx

Many thanks to Sameer and You-Wei and the other reviewers and contributors who helped get to a first draft.

This PDT is limited to COBF PHY aspects that reside in the PHY section 38.xx .  Other aspects related to e.g. sounding or NDPA that are described in sections 37.xx or others will go to other PDTs.

Since the TTT assignment for COBF includes both PHY and MAC I’m not sure I captured all the people that volunteered for the PHY part. If you don’t see your name please email me (privately).

Comments are welcome.

Thanks,

Ron
