Hi Matt,
I truly appreciate your hard work in handling so many CIDs,
and have a couple of questions related to the CRD 26/0319 you just presented.
1. CID 5683: While I don't disagree with the decision on the CID (and respect your opinion),
but the lengthy explanation in the text ultimately converges on two cases for the valid TXOP observation mentioned in point c. of section 2):
one is NAVTimeout, and the other is BSRPNAVTimeout.
Therefore, I believe that the resolution, "the changes proposed do not make the language any simpler", is actually the opposite.
2. CID 5685: I agree with your decision to remove NPCA_START_TIMEOUT.
Based on this, I would ask your opinion to change the status of CID 5685 to "revised."
3. CID 7153: There seems to be a mismatch.
According to the sentence tagged with #7153, the NPCA STA is stronly recommended to avoid exceeding the NPCA_TIMER during frame exchange.
However, according to the _expression_ in subclause 37.15.5 (switching back operation), the non-AP STA needs to return to the BSS primary channel in accordance with the NPCA_TIMER expiration (shall operation),
which conflicts with the "should operation" in #7153. What are your thoughts on changing the _expression_ to a shall operation or modifying 37.15.5 to a should operation to achieve consistency?
Thanks again,
BRs,
Seongho.
