Hey Abhi,

Per your changes in 37.16.6.4 ST preparation response transmission:

"When the Status Code field in the ST preparation response is not SUCCESS, then the Status (#15536) Code field in the Per-STA Profile subelement corresponding to each requested link of the target AP MLD shall be set to (#15536) a value other than SUCCESS.”


Per 11bn 2.0, subclause 9.6.43.3 UHR Link Reconfiguration Response frame format on p. 244:
The Basic Multi-Link element is present if:
— The Message Type field is 0 and target AP MLD accepts at least one of the requested links (see
37.16.6.2 (ST preparation request transmission)).
— The Message Type field is 1 and the Status Code field in the ST execution response indicates
SUCCESS (see 37.16.7 (ST execution procedure via the current AP MLD) and 37.16.8 (ST
execution procedure via the target AP MLD)).
— Otherwise, the Basic Multi-Link element is not present.


Has the §9.6.43.3 text above been changed elsewhere? If not, when the target accepts none of the requested links, the Basic Multi-Link element is absent, so there are no Per-STA Profile subelements in which to set the per-link Status Codes. Could we clarify how your revised requirement applies in that case?
