I agree with you that the WUR STA does not ignore the received AMP PPDU and will continue to find WUR PPDU. With very high probability, the WUR receiver cannot detect the WUR sync based on the received AMP PPDU since the WUR sync field is designed to have good auto-correlation property. With very extremely low probability, once the WUR sync is detected based on the received AMP PPDU, WUR receiver will decode the remaining PPDU as usual and discard the packet due to failed CRC check.
