Re: [STDS-802-11-TGBP] 11bp Agenda Request

Hi Bo,

Could you please add the following contribution into 11bp F2F agenda if there are still slots available?

11/24-1916, Recap of compact secure transaction methods for AMP, Hui Luo and Rakesh Taori (Infineon Technologies).

We also request time slots to run/discuss the following SPs.

  • Do you agree to create a new sub-clause on security into IEEE 802.11bp SFD?
  • Do you agree to insert the following text in the security sub-clause of the SFD?
    • IEEE 802.11bp will specify ASCON-128 as a cipher choice for 802.11bp STAs.
    • IEEE 802.11bp will specify BIP-ASCON-128 as an authentication-only cipher choice for 802.11bp STAs.
  • Do you agree to insert the following text in the security sub-clause of the SFD?
    • IEEE 802.11bp will specify compact, transaction-based secure data communication methods that do not require maintaining a secure link for power-constrained 802.11bp STAs (e.g., AMP-only active STA devices).

Thanks,

Hui Luo

Hello, all,

Thanks very much to those who have sent me their submissions.

I have incorporated all those requests into a tentative agenda doc 11-24/1671r0. The presenting order of the submissions is basically following the ascending DCN order. Further, as in last meeting, I categorized the submissions into FR/PHY/MAC/WPT/SEC topic groups, and scheduled each specific meeting slots for one or two topic groups. I also tried to put submissions of the same specific topics into the same meeting slot, e.g. OOK, timing, data rate, e.g.

https://mentor.ieee.org/802.11/dcn/24/11-24-1671-00-00bp-tg-bp-meeting-agenda-for-nov-plenary-2024.pptx

If your submission is categorized into wrong topic group, or you have further request on presenting slot or relative submissions which are preferred to present in the same meeting slot, feel free to let me know, so that I can update the agenda before the meeting.

Looking forward to seeing you in Vancouver next week.

Best Regards,

Bo
