SP #1: Do you agree to amend the following motion in the 11bp SFD as below?
PM-55:
·
The AMP
DL PPDU for bistatic backscattering operation in 2.4GHz shall be PPDU subtype 32.
o PPDU subtype 23
consists of the 802.11bp preamble, an AMP SYNC field, an AMP-SIG field,
and
an AMP Data field and an Excitation field.
o The AMP SYNC and AMP-SIG is are the
same sync design as for active Tx non-AP AMP STA.
o The AMP Data uses the same Manchester encoded OOK with data rates of 250kbps, 1 Mbps.

· The AMP Uplink PPDU for bistatic backscattering operation in 2.4GHz shall reuse the following fields from active Tx.
o The AMP SYNC is the same sync design as for active Tx non-AP AMP STA.
o The AMP Data uses the same Manchester encoded OOK with data rates of 250kbps, 1 Mbps as same as Active TX non-AP AMP STA. 4 Mbps is TBD.

SP #2: Do you agree to amend the following motions in the 11bp SFD as below?
AM-3:
•
IEEE 802.11bp
defines an AMP Energizer that contains an Energizing Function, which is capable
of transmitting WPT waveform and/or excitation waveformdownlink
AMP PPDU subtype 3 for bistatic
backscattering for backscattering
operation. Additionally, the AMP Energizer may contain or be
co-located (which one is TBD) with an IEEE 802.11 non-AMP non-AP STA.
•
Note:
WPT waveform is transmitted over sub1-GHz. Depending on whether the
backscattering operation happens in sub1-GHz or 2.4GHz, accordingly the downlink
AMP PPDU subtype 3 for bistatic backscatteringexcitation
waveform will be transmitted in the same band.
WM-8:
• IEEE 802.11bp defines at least the following capability parameters to be reported by the energizer to the AMP AP.
• Whether or not support S1G WPT transmission
• If supported, frequency related parameters for WPT. The frequency related parameters may include central frequency information, bandwidth information, etc.
• Whether
or not support transmission of AMP DL PPDU subtype 3 for bistatic
backscattering in 2.4G excitation waveform transmission.
• Maximum Tx power.
• Note: The
energizer should at least support one of the following transmissions: S1G
WPT transmission or AMP DL PPDU subtype 3 for bistatic
backscattering in 2.4G
excitation waveform transmission.
WM-6:
• Control
information that may be sent from the AMP AP to the AMP Energizer relating to
the excitation signal transmission of AMP
DL PPDU subtype 3 for
bistatic backscattering includes one or more of the following: Start
Time, Duration, Transmit Power and frequency related parameters.
• The frequency related parameters may include central frequency information, etc.

Hi Bo,
Please change my SP (SFD MAC SP Set #13) to the following:
- SP #1: Do you agree to add the following text into the 11bp SFD ?
- for monostatic backscatter use case, two states for each of the three sessions shall be used to support the information exchange that requires multiple TXOPs between the STA and an AP.

Subject: [EXT] [STDS-802-11-TGBP] Reminder of TGbp TC on Dec 9
Caution: This is an external email. Please take care when clicking links or opening attachments. When in doubt, report the message using the 'Report this email' button
Hello, all,
This email serves as a reminder of the coming TGbp TC on Dec 9. A tentative TC agenda has been uploaded to the server for your reference.
In the agenda for TC on Dec 9, there're several items to be conducted:
- first we will go through the updated SFD based on passed motions in Nov f2f meeting.
- our editor will give the editor report on the spec draft progress. I have seen sub-clause change requet from Alice and Ian, and there're also some missing sub-clauses to be fulfilled. We will discuss those sub-clause update together with the editor report.
- then we will continue pending SPs, starting from SPs those were not conducted due to short of time during Nov f2f, followed by the SPs specifically indicated to postpone to the TC on Dec 9.
- If all planned SPs are conducted and time still allows, we will go to submission presenting and discussion.
To better manage the TC, I'd like to request the owners of SPs to claim to the reflector whether your postponed/deferred SPs are ready to run in the TC on Dec 9 or any other TCs. Thank you!
Best Regards,
Bo
