Re: [STDS-802-11-TGM] 11mc/D4.0 aAirPropagationTime and CCA-ED-related comment resolutions

--- This message came from the IEEE 802.11 Task Group M Technical Reflector ---

A gentle reminder on this one.  If no comments are received, the resolutions

might be motioned on Friday (28 August).

Please note the following in 15/0762r7, posted last Friday (21 August):

- CID 6506: the wording for CCA-ED has been tweaked, per BRC preference,

to talk of CCA-ED "detecting" busy rather than "indicating", on the basis

that CCA-ED itself does not indicate anything, the PHY does

- CID 6496: there is an open question about whether the sentences about

the SIFS tolerance ("STA shall not allow the space between frames that are

defined to be separated by a SIFS, as measured on the medium, to vary from

the nominal SIFS by more than") would be improved by having "at the

antenna connector" added after "as measured on the medium".  The default

is for this not to be added

Subject: [STDS-802-11-TGM] 11mc/D4.0 aAirPropagationTime and CCA-ED-related comment resolutions

--- This message came from the IEEE 802.11 Task Group M Technical Reflector ---

15/0762r6 contains inter alia resolutions to the following comments

(search for "CID nnnn" to go directly to them):

- CID 6482 on the air propagation time in various situations

- CID 6480 on the air propagation time for DMG

- CID 6496 on whether the allowable SIFS error is a function of the air propagation time

- CID 6506 on the CCA-ED wording for the 4 PHYs which invoke it

If you have any comments on any of these resolutions, please make them

(unicast to me, or otherwise) at your earliest convenience.
