--- This message came from the IEEE 802.11 Task Group M Technical Reflector ---
I believe that the following issues need to be addressed before any motion to approve the resolutions in the “Editorials - pulled” tab in
https://mentor.ieee.org/802.11/dcn/15/11-15-0532-54-000m-revmc-sponsor-ballot-comments.xls is called. Hello Dorothy, I would like to request that the following be pulled from the "Editorials" motion: 8294 (why the 6 exceptions?) 8292 (reference to 144.52 is broken (should be 1144.52) and I think whether or not the change to the para at 1144.52 is editorial or not it should be done) 8030 (I am not convinced by the change back from Action frame to Management frame, because T9-47 is about Action frames specifically, not Management frames generally) 8252 (I think this will result in "FMS Counter fields field" at 946.1) 8218 (there is no "byte" type in the code at 3550.34, 3553.36, 3554.9, 3579.51. 3624.15 is not even code) 8230 (the quotes are not explicitly being made sexy) 8224 (if you're changing in the figures too (I wasn't sure whether there was a special rule for figures) then there's also 9-20/21/22/24/25/ 8212 (reason doesn't seem to correspond to comment (perhaps cut+paste error with 8211) 8211 (OK with keeping "buffered"; what I'm after is deleting the "single") 8307 (the comment was not about deleting in the sentence but in the subclause heading; in all the other subclause headings "characteristics" is not included) 8116 (I have a resolution in 16/0839) 8197 (the whole point of the comment is to embed the Measurement Report Element field as a subelement in the Location Parameters Element field; there is no reason for it to stand alone) 8195 (I don't understand what "local usage" is being referred to here. "Measurement Pilot interval" is clearly broken) 8126 (the problem is not ambiguity. The problem is searchability – if you're looking for stuff related to VHT-LTFs you search for VHT-LTF not VHTLTF. Other indices are hyphenated (e.g. R_VHT-LTF and A_VHT-LTF), so you end up being misled into missing instances) Mark -- Mark RISON, Standards Architect, WLAN English/Esperanto/Français Samsung Cambridge Solution Centre Tel: +44 1223 434600 Innovation Park, Cambridge CB4 0DS Fax: +44 1223 434601 ROYAUME UNI WWW:

Hello Dorothy, I see this has sprouted an additional motion for the "Editorials" tab. I will try to go through this to see if I am unhappy with any of them, but I must say I think the notice was rather short.
