--- This message came from the IEEE 802.11 Task Group M Technical Reflector ---Thanks for this. I have the following comments on the PHY Motion A tab:
- CID 1552. Per Figure 9-279, an RSNE does not have a PMKID field,
it has a PMKID Count field and a PMKID List field. Is the intent that
PMKID Count be incremented by 1 (compared with what was in the beacon/
probe response) and the PMKR1Name added as the last PMKID in the PMKID
List field?
[I note 9 instances of "PMKID field" in the draft.]
- CID 1324. The proposed resolution does not address the comment.
The term "FILS Shared Key" might be unambiguous, but the term
"Shared Key" is ambiguous (presumably it includes "FILS Shared Key"?)
- CID 1264. TGm cannot have its cake and eat it. Either we contain
to maintain the specification of deprecated features, or we need to
delete it, because otherwise we are specifying incorrect behaviour
- CID 1188. This needs to be rejected because "the task group has
determined that they are not making any changes associated with
obsolete/deprecated features"…
- CID 1004. It seems to me that the "Similarly," clearly refers
to the previous "An IEEE 802.1X AS never exposes the common symmetric
key to any party except the AP with which the STA is currently
communicating."
- CID 1552. I thought that it had to be REVISED if any change,
however trivial, is needed?
Thanks,
Mark
