The draft doesn't explain what a "Known OUI" is (even though there are a few cross references).

Explain what a "Known OUI" is

I discussed this comment with the commenter and the proposed resolution is the following. My plan is to propose this resolution in Bangkok:

At 631.47 (relative to D1.0) change:

“Zero or more OUIs that specify the OUIs known by the AP. The AP uses the known OUIs to determine if it should respond to the Probe Request frame as defined in 11.1.4.3.4 (Criteria for sending a response(11ai)).”

To

“Zero or more OUIs that are configured in the AP. The AP compares the list of configured Known OUIs with OUIs received in the FILS Request Parameters element in the probe request  as criteria for responding with a Probe Response frame, as described  in  11.1.4.3.4 (Criteria for sending a response(11ai)).”

 

At 1954.31 (relative to D1.0) change:

“If the OUI Response Criteria field is present in the FILS Request Parameters element and if any OUIs specified by the OUI Response Criteria field are not known to the AP (see Known OUIs, 6.3.5.2.2 (Semantics of the service primitive)(11ai) .”

To

“If the OUI Response Criteria field is present in the FILS Request Parameters element and if none of the OUIs specified by the OUI Response Criteria field match the list of Known OUIs configured in the AP (see Known OUIs, 6.3.5.2.2 (Semantics of the service primitive)(11ai) .”
