[STDS-802-11-TGM] Review Resolution for CID 4066

--- This message came from the IEEE 802.11 Task Group M Technical Reflector ---
Hi Chris,

During the TGmd telecon today,  I was given the action item to review the following CID with you. (I have cc'd the TGm reflector to broaden the verification).

CID 4066:
Comment:
The ordering of these sentences is confusing to read: "To obtain the number of TRN-R subfields, the value of the L-RX subfield is multiplied by 4. Possible values range from 0 to 16."
Proposed Change:
Reword to "The L-RX field is an unsigned integer with range 0 to 16. Values outside this range are reserved. The number of requested TRN-R subfields is equal to the value of the L-RX subfield multiplied by 4."
Proposed Resolution:
REVISED (GEN: 2020-04-24 15:13:01Z) change the cited Sentence to "The L-RX subfield contains an unsigned integer between 0 and 16. Values outside this range are reserved. The number of requested TRN-R subfields is equal to the value of the L-RX subfield multiplied by 4."

From the Minutes 11-20/640r3:

4.7.8          CID 4066 (GEN)

1.1.1.1    The L-RX field seems to be a 5 bit field. But the L-RX field is stated to be an unsigned integer.

1.1.1.2    “requested TRN subfields” does not make sense.

1.1.1.3    This is the BRP subfield.

1.1.1.4    Proceed with a revised resolution.

1.1.1.5    ACTION ITEM: Jon ROSDAHL to review the resolution with Chris Hansen.

1.1.1.6    Proposed Resolution: CID 4066 (GEN): REVISED (GEN: 2020-04-24 15:13:01Z) change the cited Sentence to "The L-RX subfield contains an unsigned integer between 0 and 16. Values outside this range are reserved. The number of requested TRN-R subfields is equal to the value of the L-RX subfield multiplied by 4."

1.1.1.7    Mark Ready for motion

Please let me know if there is any concern.
This will be subject to a motion on the May 15 telecon.

Kind Regards,
Jon
