[STDS-802-11-TGM] Update to PAR for Corrigendum #1 Posted

Greetings,
I have posted the updated Corrigendum PAR that we discussed on Monday.

Please note that we had discussed putting the Project Plan into 8.1, but I have put it in the Abstract for reference by 802, we will not need it in 8.1

Proposed Cordigendum PAR to correct an error in the published IEEE Std 802.11ay-2021. In 9.4.2.241 Table 9-321 of 11ay, Protected Announce Support bit is reassigned.

 

The Project plan:

1.       November 19, 2021 – 802 EC Approves PAR – Put on NesCom Agenda

2.       January 25, 2022 – NesCom Telecon

3.       February 2022: Approval by IEEE SA SASB – Letter Ballot

4.       March 2022: Create the SA Ballot Pool. That requires 30 days. 

5.       March 2022 - Conduct an IEEE 802.11 WG LB to approve the change – 30 days required.

6.       May 2022 – 802.11 WG Approval

7.       June 7, 2022 - Request IEEE 802 EC (Conditional) approval for starting the IEEE SA Letter ballot. 

8.       June 2022 - IEEE SA Letter Ballot – 30 days June - July

9.       June 2022 - Public Review Requires 60 days. June – Aug

10.   July 2022 - Request IEEE 802 EC (Conditional) approval for sending to RevCom May 2022.

11.   September 2022: Expect only one SA ballot will be needed, RevCom deadline for the Sept 2022 RevCom meeting agenda - Aug 11, 2022.

 

R0: Draft PAR for Discussion in REVme telecon Nov 1, 2021.

R1: Updated per 802.11me Telecon discussion November 1, 2021 – Added Project plan to Abstract.


Dorothy can place the Corrigenda PAR as a Maintenance PAR agenda item for the IEEE 802 Closing Plenary consideration.
