All, This meeting comes a bit too soon. However, if there is interest in some other session, I could talk about 802.11
performance impacting factors in live networks. I have collected and analyzed data from numerous live networks through completely automated end user device like
performance measurement system. That includes over 600 performance metric’s with continuous history over months and scaling down to minute level. Among others, these cover synthetic end-to-end measurements like throughput, latency, packet loss, jitter, MOS
(PSQA) scores. By making configuration changes in those networks like supported standards, data rates, channel alignment, power levels, number of SSID’s, GI settings, fragmentation, QoS, beacon interval, etc. we have been able impact to system capacity and
performance significantly. As an example (a university campus), we increased network offered throughputs in an area of high number of AP’s
on average by over 10x (0.2 Mbit/s to 2.5 Mbit/s) during high traffic load. Often impacts in live networks at end user level are surprising. This has made me think that 802.11 industry would benefit from utilizing this data and these findings in the future
standardization and development effort. I would be happy to share examples and my learning’s. Kind regards, Veli-Pekka Ketonen CTO, founder 7signal Solutions, Inc. 526 S. Main Street, Suite 601G Akron, Ohio, 44311 330-861 8150 From: ***

Hello Clint and all, As you know, I originally had a plan to present
“Measurement and analysis of Wi-Fi interferences in Korea
– Part 1” at WNG SC next week, but, unfortunately, due to sudden government
business overlapped next week, I’m supposed not to attend the Orlando meeting. So, I’d like to postpone
my presentation to next time if it is OK with you. Sorry about your inconvenience. Best Regards, Minho From:

This is the third call for presentations for 802.11 WNG for the IEEE 802 Plenary March 2013 at Orlando, Florida, USA. If you wish to present,
please let me know. We have set aside a Tuesday evening session to be used to continue the discussion of next generation of PHY services (and MAC changes). as of
now, I have the following presentations:. Tuesday AM1 (08:00-10:00) Measurements and analysis of Wi-Fi interferences in Korea - part 1 () - Minho Tuesday EVE (19:30-21:30) 802.11: Looking Ahead to the Future - Part ??? () - Osama Aboul-Magd Carrier-Oriented Wi-Fi for Cellular Offload () - Laurent Cariou Next Generation PHY/MAC () - Ron Porat On Mon, Feb 11, 2013 at 12:20 PM, Clint Chaplin <clint.chaplin@xxxxxxxxx> wrote: This is the second call for presentations for 802.11 WNG for the IEEE 802 Plenary March 2013 at Orlando, Florida, USA. please let me know. We have set aside a Tuesday evening session to be used as a single topic session, and we have the ability to set aside other single topic sessions
as needed. Two possible single session topics are Cellular Offload and Next Generation PHY/MAC. Please let me know if you wish to present in one of these single topic sessions. -- Clint (JOATMON) Chaplin
