--- This message came from the IEEE 802.11 Working Group Reflector ---

IEEE 802.11(TM) Letter Ballot 194

To: IEEE 802.11 Voters,

With this email, the 802.11 Working Group is officially beginning WG Recirculation Letter Ballot 194 (LB194), which is a Letter Ballot on the question "Should P802.11ac Draft 5.0 be forwarded to Sponsor Ballot?".

This Letter Ballot opens Wed Mar 20, 2013 at 23:59 Eastern Time USA (11:59PM) and will close 15 days later on Thu Apr 04, 2013 at 23:59 Eastern Time USA (11:59pm). All necessary documents are available in the instructions that can be found on the IEEE 802.11 web site at http://www.ieee802.org/11/LetterBallots/LB194ac/LB194_instructions.html.

NOTE - we have recently changed to using the IEEE-SA's ePoll application to support WG Letter Ballots.

Please read the instructions (http://www.ieee802.org/11/LetterBallots/LB194ac/LB194_instructions.html) at least once,  as many of the details of how to interact with the tool have changed.

Important:

o             This is a 15-day Recirculation letter ballot and the voting pool for this ballot is the same voter pool  that was used for the original letter ballot that passed the 75% threshold for 802.11ac,  i.e., Letter Ballot 187. If you have voted on any of LB187, 188, 190 and 191, you are not required to vote on this ballot. Your most recent ballot will be carried forward.

o             If you wish to change your vote, you must respond to this ballot.

o             You must follow these instructions to vote. Do not send an email to vote. Voting by any method other than the web-based process described here will invalidate your vote.

o             Failure to follow these instructions will result in your vote being discarded as an invalid vote.

o             The draft is password protected in accordance with IEEE 802 Policies and Procedures.  To obtain the draft, use the username and the password supplied to active members for the 802.11 WG private area.

(The attached file contains a reminder set for 5 days before the close of the ballot.  You may find it helpful to import this into or open this with your calendar client in order to get an automated reminder.)

Thank you for participating in Letter Ballot 194.
