So far I’ve received the following requests in response to the call for submissions:

 

          Eldad: usage cases (11-13/0514 follow up)

          Minyoung: Evaluation Methodology

          Shahrnaz: Channel Models

          Thomas: Evaluation Metrics

          Jianhan: Performance metrics and dense networks

          James: MAC/PHY enhancements

          Rute Sofia: resource aggregation for multiple STAs

          Minho: Usage models (backhaul and factory automation)

          Ricardo Scopigno: TD-UCSMA

          Bill Carney: Network optimization for short packets and video

          Yasu: Usage models

          David: Methodology

          Andre: New MAC & PHY Techniques

 

In addition the SG usage models document we discussed during the two telecons. Please let me know if you plan submissions.

Hello All,

 

The Geneva meeting is fast approaching. Please let me know if you are planning a submission to the HEW SG.

 

Information on following subjects will assist us in creating a PAR and 5 Criteria:

        Market needs, applications, usage scenarios

        Technology & feasibility

          MAC efficiency evaluation and enhancements.

          PHY enhancements to 11ac

          new MAC & PHY technology

        Requirements

          metrics (i.e. throughput, network capacity, spectral efficiency, range, etc)

          coexistence / interoperability

        Spectrum availability & regulatory options
