Bruce: The NPRM FCC 13-22 Reply Comments was on the consent agenda. Was that approved, and if so, who will be sending it to the FCC. The deadline is Wednesday.

Dear 802.11, 802.11 just completed its July 802.11 session held in Geneva, Switzerland. The composite set of July 802.11 closing activity reports can be found at: https://mentor.ieee.org/802.11/dcn/13/11-13-0676-00-0000-july-2013-closing-reports.pptx Below is a brief summary of some important conclusions reached:

AF started a working group letter ballot #197 on D5.0 which closes August 1. The ballot start announcement has already been sent to the WG reflector and posted on the 802.11 home page. http://grouper.ieee.org/groups/802/11/

AI will be starting its first 30 day letter ballot (#198) on D1.0 soon. Watch for the announcement.

Meeting and hotel registration for the September meeting, to be held in Nanjing China, is now live.

A new teleconference schedule has been established for August and September. A few additional highlights where our working group plans required Executive Committee approvals are:

AF was conditionally approved to move to Sponsor ballot
Note that you still have an opportunity to join the sponsor ballot group for AF. Sponsor ballot group formation closes August 6. It is expected that sponsor ballot will begin by September.

AF PAR extension for one year was approved (EC). This is placed on the August NesCom agenda.

A Liaison letter to WFA requesting comment on HEW use cases (EC)

The HEW SG was extended to the November plenary extended (EC). Study groups are authorized to operate for four months, from one 802 plenary to the next. Other topics within the EC of interest:

All proposed Study Groups and PARs were approved.

Changes to the 802 Operations Manual were approved, however, changes to the 5C were postponed to a later date.

A sponsor ballot on the next revision of the 802 Overview and Architecture draft will begin shortly.
