--- This message came from the IEEE 802.11 Working Group Reflector ---
Hi Osama In the PAR for the TG arising from HEW, I see value in underlining one of the key HEW SG phrases (“Improving
real world performance in …”). Accordingly I propose one insertion in 13/1410r6 as follows: 5.2.b The amendment will be evaluated with a set of typical deployment scenarios representative of the main expected usage models that are likely to suffer bottlenecks in the coming
years: residential, enterprise, indoor and outdoor hotspots. HEW SG has initiated the creation of a high-level simulation scenario working document (ref: 11-13/1001r5) to model these scenarios.
The simulation scenarios should include system characteristics extracted from measured 802.11 operation in the field. (I think we are already striving to incorporate real world characteristics and inefficiencies in the sim scenarios, but it is vital to the ultimate value of HEW that this effort
should continue). Best regards Brian If you wish to be removed from this reflector, do not send your request to this reflector - it will have no effect.
