During the July/2014 plenary, the IEEE 802 EC approved an 802.11 request to create a new Study Group called Next Generation 60 GHz (NG60). Background information is available at http://www.ieee802.org/11/Reports/ng60_update.htm. The NG60 SG will meet for the first time during the upcoming September 2014 meeting in Greece. A draft agenda is available at https://mentor.ieee.org/802.11/dcn/14/11-14-1025-00-ng60-sept-2014-agenda.ppt.

 

This e-mail is a Call for Submissions for NG60 SG presentations during the September 2014 meeting. Submissions should focus on material that will inform the group in its efforts to develop a PAR and CSD (5C). Examples include use cases, problem statements, requirements, scope and purpose presentations. Please upload your submissions to Mentor under the NG60 SG prior to Sept 14^th using the NG60 SG identifier and let me know by e-mail of your intent to present.
