Hyatt Regency Vancouver is set to welcome the IEEE 802 Wireless Interim
The May 2015 IEEE 802 Wireless Interim Session is taking place at the Hyatt Regency in Vancouver, British Columbia Canada.
Session Dates are Sunday May 10th to Friday May 15th, 2015.
Participating IEEE-802 Working Groups: 802.11, 802.15, 802.18, 802.19, 802.21, 802.24.
Registration Fees & Deadlines
Early: Before 6:00 PM Pacific Time, Friday, April 3, 2015
(UTC Time: 1:00 AM Saturday, April 4, 2015)
* $US 600.00 for attendees staying at the Hyatt Regency Vancouver
* $US 900.00 for all others (including local attendees not staying at the group hotel)

* A valid current student ID must be shown when picking up the meeting badge.
Registration Fee Includes
The registration fee covers AV equipment, network/Internet/meeting services, power hook-ups in the meeting rooms, continental breakfast, morning and afternoon refreshments, lunch as well a social event and supplies.
Registration Payment Policy
Registration is available through a secure website and requires a valid credit card for the payment of the registration fee, cash and checks are NOT accepted for registration.
Any individual who attends any part of a meeting that is a scheduled part of an 802 Wireless Interim Session must register for the full session.
Session registrations are not transferable to another individual or to another interim session.
Group Hotel Registration Policy
The combined hotel room stays of attendees are used to offset the cost of the meeting. For this reason, anyone who is not a registered guest at the Hyatt Regency Vancouver for two or more nights is not be eligible for the hotel discount.
The correct registration fee must be paid prior to receiving your badge, which permits entrance to scheduled meetings.
Cancellation Policy
If you register for an IEEE 802 Wireless Interim Session and then are unable to attend, you must request cancellation of your registration before the cancellation deadline to be eligible for a refund of all or part of the fees paid.

CANCELLATION DEADLINE:
Individual guest room reservations can be cancelled free of charge until 6:00 PM Pacific Time on the scheduled arrival date.
EXTENDED DATES:
The IEEE 802 Wireless Guest Room rate will be available, subject only to availability from Monday May 4th through Thursday May 21st.

Attendees who are not a registered guest at the Hyatt Regency Vancouver for two or more nights must pay a higher registration fee than attendees staying at the Wireless Interim Session hotel. The correct registration fee must be paid prior to receiving your badge, which permits entrance to scheduled meetings.

DO YOU NEED A VISA TO ENTER CANADA?
A Visa may be required for entrance into the CANADA. For standards participants traveling to the CANADA, we recommend visiting the CANADA government site (

HOW CAN YOU OBTAIN VISA TO ENTER CANADA?
WHEN SHOULD YOU APPLY FOR VISA TO ENTER CANADA?
You should apply for your CANADA Visa well in advance the session you wish to attend to have a reasonable chance of getting your Visa in time.
The IEEE Standards Association can provide you with a letter inviting you to attend the session. You must register for the upcoming plenary session in order to obtain an Invitation Letter.
