November 2015 IEEE 802 Plenary at the Hyatt Regency Dallas
The November 2015 IEEE 802 Plenary Session is scheduled to take place November 8-13, 2015 at the Hyatt Regency in Dallas, Texas USA.
Session Dates are Sunday November 8th to Friday November 13, 2015.
Participating IEEE-802 Working Groups: 802.1, 802.3, 802.11, 802.15, 802.16, 802.18, 802.19, 802.21, 802.22, 802.24 `
Registration Fees & Deadlines
Early: Before 6:00 PM Pacific Time, Friday, October 2, 2015
(UTC Time: 1:00 AM Saturday, October 3, 2015)
* $US 500 for attendees staying at the Hyatt Regency Dallas
* $US 800 for all others (including local attendees not staying at the group hotel)
Standard: After Early Registration and before 6:00 PM Pacific Time, Friday October 30, 2015
(UTC Time: 1:00 AM Saturday, October 31, 2015)
* $US 600 for attendees staying at the Hyatt Regency Dallas
* $US 900 for all others (including local attendees not staying at the group hotel)
Late/On-site: After 6:00 PM Pacific Time Friday October 30, 2015

* $US 800 for attendees staying at the Hyatt Regency Dallas
* $US 1100 for all others (including local attendees not staying at the group hotel)
Student Registration: $US 150 (college students at the bachelor or post-graduate level)
* The Student meeting fee is available only one time per person.
* The person using the Student meeting fee will not be able to use meeting attendance to gain or maintain voting rights.
* A valid current student ID must be shown when picking up the meeting badge.
Registration Fee Includes
The combined hotel room stays of attendees is used to offset the cost of the meeting. For this reason anyone attending the meeting who is not a registered guest at the meeting hotel is not be eligible for the registration discount.
The registration fee covers the following:

* AV equipment
* Power hook-ups in the meeting rooms
* Morning and afternoon refreshments
* Wednesday evening social
* “Get 802” fee
* Meeting services and supplies
Registration Payment Policy
Any individual who attends any part of a meeting that is a scheduled part of an IEEE 802 Plenary Session must register for the full session.
Session registrations are not transferable to another individual or to another interim session.
Group Hotel Registration Policy
The combined hotel room stays of attendees are used to offset the cost of the meeting. For this reason, anyone who is not a registered guest at the Hyatt Regency Dallas for one or more nights is not eligible for the registration discount. The correct registration fee must be paid prior to receiving your badge, which permits entrance to scheduled meetings.
Cancellation Policy
If you register for an IEEE 802 Plenary Session and then are unable to attend, you must request cancellation of your registration before the cancellation deadline to be eligible for a refund of all or part of the fees paid.

HOW CAN YOU OBTAIN VISA TO ENTER USA?
WHEN SHOULD YOU APPLY FOR VISA TO ENTER USA?
You should apply for your USA Visa well in advance the session you wish to attend to have a reasonable chance of getting your Visa in time.
IEEE STANDARDS VISA INVITATION LETTER
The IEEE Standards Association can provide you with a letter inviting you to attend the session. You must register for the upcoming plenary session in order to obtain an Invitation Letter.

Airport (DFW and Lovefield) Transportation
Transportation to / from DFW International Airport (22 miles)
• Taxi fare is approximately $US 45.00-$US 50.00
• Taxi service is available on the upper level of Terminals A, B, C and E, and lower level of Terminal D.
• An Airport Guest Assistant will be available at the taxi stands between 8:00 AM and midnight.
• Between midnight and 8:00 AM, dial

• Super Shuttle is approximately $US 17.00 per person, one way, and operates 24 hours a day. Vans are blue with yellow lettering that states Super Shuttle.
• The DART (Dallas Area Rapid Transit) orange line leaves from the airport and goes to the West End station, and guests can take either the red or blue line to get to Union Station (attached to the hotel via underground concourse).
• For transportation to DFW Airport from the hotel, guests can take either the red or blue DART lines from Union Station to the West End station and switch to the orange line to take to the airport.

Routes available to immediate downtown area locations include Dallas Convention Center, Dallas Zoo, West End Historic District and NorthPark Center shopping mall. Cost is $2.50 per person for two hours of unlimited rides or $5.00 for day pass.
