--- This message came from the IEEE 802.11 Working Group Reflector ---
Dear 802.11 participants, Please be aware that the first recirculation of the sponsor ballot on the current 802.11 revision (REVmc) is now open. The draft being balloted, and the comment resolutions from the initial sponsor ballot are available on the 802.11 members’ area. The recirculation is 15 days in length and finishes on the 26th Jan.
To forestall the questions that this email might generate: You can only vote on this sponsor ballot if you explicitly registered for the ballot group formation. You will have received an email recently from IEEE-SA indicating the opening of the recirculation.
If you are unsure, rest easy, you are not in the ballot group and therefore have nothing to do. Voting or not voting on sponsor ballots has no effect on working group voting status. The ballot group is formed prior to the initial sponsor ballot and fixed for the entire sponsor ballot (initial ballot and all subsequent recirculations). This means that you cannot joint the ballot group if you have not already done so.
