--- This message came from the IEEE 802.11 Working Group Reflector ---
Some clarification is needed, obviously the first coffee of the morning hadn’t worked well enough when I penned that. The situation I am asking about is when somebody uses the “what 802.11 is doing” presentation (or derivative thereof) to explain to some other group about the status of 802.11. That other group might be: An IEEE Standards Education committee workshop run at some university A lecture or seminar in a university A lecture or seminar in another SDO A lecture or seminar in a not-for-profit organisation A lecture or seminar in a trade show run for profit Best Regards, Adrian P STEPHENS Tel: +44 (1793) 404825 (office) Tel: +1 (971) 330 6025 (mobile) ---------------------------------------------- From: *** IEEE stds-802-11 List *** [mailto:STDS-802-11@xxxxxxxx]
On Behalf Of Stephens, Adrian P --- This message came from the IEEE 802.11 Working Group Reflector ---
Dear 802.11 participants, This email is intended to support the “business” of 802.11. The question is whether somebody delivering the “what 802.11 is doing” presentation to a group of non 802.11 folks is of general interest to the members (i.e., they might like
to go along and support), and whether and under what conditions that might be advertised to this reflector. Comments sought.
