Subject: Tues PM1 Special OmniRAN TG session on standardization efforts for 5G SC Action A/alternative WP5A/RLAN approach
Dear colleagues,
OmniRAN TG has a special session today on the potential standardization efforts for the 5G SC Action A: IEEE “5G” specification/ alternative WP5A/ RLAN approach.
The question came up during the Budapest 5G SC meeting, and also caused some doubts in yesterday’s 5G SC meeting.
We will get the initial thoughts brought up in the Waikoloa 5G SC meeting and take a look into the Action A of the 5G SC report. I also invited the chair of the 802.18 RR TAG to provide his observations about potential activities in WP5A.
The intention of the session is to gain better understanding of the approach and related activities.
The session starts at 01:30PM in Hillcrest C on 3rd floor Seaport Tower.
