Re: [STDS-802-11] Liaison statement from 3GPP RAN1 to 802

--- This message came from the IEEE 802.11 Working Group Reflector ---

Adrian and Andrew,

Thanks, but I think there is no need for any changes.  IEEE 802.19 can continue to handle liaisons with 3GPP on coexistence topics.  Anyone in 802 can participate in 802.19 which has been working well. IEEE 802.11 has answered the request from 3GPP on changing the 802.11 energy detection level, which needed to be addressed directly by 802.11.  Thanks for handling that request.

Regards,

Steve

Thanks for the input,  Andrew.

I'm open to any process for producing a substantive response.
Steve & Paul - do you have any preference?

My suggestion would be for 802.11 PDED to carry the bulk of this work,  perhaps with joint meeting(s)
with 802.19 to maintain balance.
