[STDS-802-11] 802.11-2016 is available free of charge to 802.11 participants for a limited time

Dear 802.11 participants,
IEEE Std 802.11-2016 (previously known as P802.11-REVmc) was published
today.
Those with access to the 802.11 members' area can access a copy free of
charge for personal use through credentials supplied on the the TGmc
members area page until 27th January 2017.
The standard will be generally available after 6 months free of charge
under the Get 802 program.
There will be an awards ceremony held for REVmc contributors during the
March 2017 session.
I thank all those who have contributed to this project, especially
Dorothy Stanley, Mark Hamilton and Jon Rosdahl as TGmc officers and
Emily Qi and Edward Au as sub-editors.
I also thank the IEEE-SA editorial department, Michelle Turner, and
Diane Lacey for their prompt and effective publication of such a large work.
