--- This message came from the IEEE 802.11 Working Group Reflector ---______________________________Thanks to Youhan Kim for providing the attached "Taxi Signs".
Her is his explanation to go with the file:
Attached file has the Korean name for some of the places you may need to go. Thought this may be useful in case you need to tell a taxi driver, or want to ask someone for direction on the road.
FYI, “KTX” is the name for the bullet train in Korea (similar to TGV (France) and ICE (Germany)).
And just in case… Please don’t rent a car/drive in Korea. We are very good in forcing our priority on the roads (at the expensive of yours). J There are plenty of taxis and public transportation options.
I will be arriving in Seoul on May 4 (Thu) evening, and will attend the 11ax ad hoc on Friday in Seoul. I am thinking of traveling from Seoul to Daejeon early Monday morning (5/8) via train. Then coming back from Daejeon to Seoul probably Thu (5/11) evening via train. In case people want to coordinate train rides.
For those attending the TGax ad hoc, there isn’t much site seeing to do in Daejeon AFAIK. Probably spend your weekend in Seoul, and then go to Daejeon on Sunday or Monday morning (~1hr train ride).
Thanks.
Youhan
