--- This message came from the IEEE 802.11 Working Group Reflector ---
Dear 802.11 participants, For information... The text of the motion approved on Wednesday was: " Approve the liaison statement in 11-17-378-01 from IEEE 802 to 3GPP RAN WG2 in response to the liaison received in 11-17-0315, granting the WG chair editorial license." The document itself contains the following subject line: " Subject: IEEE 802.11 Working Group reply LS to 3GPP RAN2 Reply LS on Estimated WLAN Throughput " and abstract: " This document contains draft text for a proposed liaison statement (LS) response by IEEE 802.11 to the 3GPP RAN2 reply LS R2-1702389 (11-17/315r0), " It is clear to me that the intention of the motion was to liaise from 802.11 directly, rather than to seek EC approval. That is the action I will take. I will make it clear (as the sponsor rules require) that this represents only the opinion of 802.11. -- Best Regards, Adrian Stephens IEEE 802.11 Working Group Chair mailto: adrian.p.stephens@xxxxxxxx Phone: +1 (971) 203-2032 Phone: +447342178905 Skype: adrian_stephens_______________________________________________________________________________ If you wish to be removed from this reflector, do not send your request to this reflector - it will have no effect.
