Those who are not on the 802.11 social facebook page will not have seen

These are the IEEE-SA awards ceremony held in Piscataway recently.
The WG received an award
for "emerging technology" for the work done on 60 GHz. Afred
Asterjadhi received a Standards Medallion for TGah, and Carlos Cordeiro
for TGad. (Carlos was unable to receive his award in person, so does
not feature in the photographs).
