Colleagues, The 802.1 YANG Coordination group
(YANGsters) will hold a session on Monday night at 730pm –
900pm to discuss issues and solutions related to the use of
YANG in IEEE 802. Currently there are active YANG projects in
IEEE 802.1 and IEEE 802.3. All 802 participants interested in
YANG are welcome – please inform those in your WG who may be
interested. The first part of the discussion will focus
on general best practices, and review of tooling that can be
used to diagram and document YANG will be in scope. Detailed discussions related to how the
IEEE 802.1Q Bridge model work can be used by the amendments
being written to add Connectivity Fault Management and Link
Layer Discovery Protocol will also be held. For more information see
