G’day all An update: we currently have one confirmed sponsor and one potential sponsor for the Coexistence Workshop in Vienna in July, who will get lots of public kudos!!!
J If you would like to see your employer’s name up in lights as a supporter of excellent coexistence between Wi-Fi and NR-U in the 6GHz band, now is the time to step up. I would appreciate anyone who thinks they might be able to provide a sponsorship to contact me by Monday. Andrew From: Andrew Myles (amyles)
G’day all The planning for the Coexistence Workshop in Vienna in July 2019 is proceeding well. The
basic website is up and the financial aspects are being finalised so that we can start the registration process. In an e-mail on 29 Jan 2019 I asked,
… does any company want to volunteer to sponsor some of all of the costs associated with the Coexistence Workshop? Now is the time to respond! We can offer sponsors signage opportunities at the event and mentions on the registration page, as well as lots of expressions of gratitude at the event. It is proposed that the cost
per sponsorship (up to four) would be $5,000. Please contact me urgently if you think your employer
might be even a little bit interested. Andrew Myles Chair of 802.11 Coex SC From: Andrew Myles (amyles) <00000b706269bb8b-dmarc-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>

G’day all During the closing report in St Louis of the Coexistence SC, I outlined the proposed arrangements for the Coexistence Workshop, which is scheduled for 1-9pm on Wednesday, 17 July 2019. It will be held during the Vienna IEEE 802 Plenary,
but will be a separate event. I noted that there will be an additional cost to attend the Coexistence Workshop, because it requires using/hiring additional facilities at the hotel across the street. The additional cost has not been determined yet, but there is likely
to be a discount for those also registered for the IEEE 802 Plenary meeting. I noted that we could reduce the cost if any company or companies volunteered to Sponsor the activity. So now the big ask … does any company want to volunteer to sponsor some of all of the costs associated with the Coexistence Workshop? If there is some possibility of doing so, please contact me as soon as possible.
