Hello all,
From time to time, I get asked why the links don't work to join a call.
I don't know.
What I do know that is if you will go to
webex.com in a browser, and then click the Join meeting.
It will let you input a meeting number and then the password for joining the WebEx call.
When you are logged in to the WebEx Desktop app, you will auto have the last info filled in.
So if you are getting on Non-IEEE 802.11 calls, you may need to remember to logout and join as a guest to set the identification.
When joining an 802.11 telecon, you are expected to use a Webex identifier in the form
[<voting status>] <full name> (<affiliation>)
where
<voting status> is your voting status: V = voter, NV = non-voter
<full name> is your full name
<affiliation> is your affiliation for that meeting
For example,
[V] Brer Rabbit (Trickster, Inc.)
I hope that helps,
Jon
